    Creators discuss a Mr. Miyagi prequel

    The Cobra Kai creators told The Hollywood Reporter they want to explore Mr. Miyagi's past, have discussed the backstory with original Karate Kid writer Robert Mark Kamen, and would decide their spinoff path after finishing Cobra Kai. The project is not yet formally greenlit or dated.
